A Press Conference was convened on December 31, 2011 at 11.30am at the Press Club, Thiruvananthapuram to highlight the Programmes planned as part of IEME4GE 2012.
Dr. A Sukumaran Nair (Former Vice-Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi University and Patron, CTE Kerala) stressed the significance of the International Education Meet. Dr. C. P. Sreekantan Nair, Chairman, CTE, Kerala State Centre, described the important events planned as part of IEME4GE. Sri A. Prabhakaran, Director, Gyan Vani FM radio, Thiruvananthapuram, and Media Convener and Director, IEME4GE, described important features related to Media publicity and Web-casting of the Meet. Dr. K. Y. Benedict, General Secretary, CTE Kerala and Organising Secretary, IEME4GE, Dr. (Sr.) Mercykutty, Principal MTTC and Director, IEME4GE also spoke. Dr. V. M. Sasikumar, National Vice-President, CTE and Prof. Jacob Mathew, Former Syndicate Member and Vice Chairman, CTE Kerala also answered the queries.
