Dr. D.R. Vij, International President, Council for Teacher Education left for his heavenly abode. May his legacy inspire us all.
He was the recipient of the 'Dr. K. Sivadasan Pillai Memorial Award for Academic Excellence - 2011' instituted by CTE, Kerala State Centre, for his outstanding contributions to the field of Education for the last five decades. The Award consisted of Rs.10,001/- and Citation. It was presented at the 26th Annual National Convention cum International Education Meet from January 5th - 7th, 2012, hosted by CTE, Kerala State Centre at Mar Theophilus Training College
